Polish violinist and composer (1835-1880), creator of some very popular violin performance pieces, including 2 concertos for violin and orchestra and other works. Rare autograph music quote signed and dated by him in Springfield, Illinois, USA, in 1873, during his famous 1872-73 tour around the United States. Wieniawski writes 2 bars from one of his most famous works, the valse from his "Faust Fantasy" for violin and piano. Size is 5.25 x 2.8 inches, age toning and some mat burning on borders, light fading on ink but still very visible, in very good condition.
ALSO INCLUDED is a modern photo postcard with the image of the composer, 3.4 x 5.4 inches.

Returns & Exchanges
Unsatisfactory items may be returned within 14 days of receipt for your choice of a store credit or a full refund. In order to qualify for a refund, items must first be returned in the exact same condition they were shipped. By default we ship via USPS, and provide the option to ship via FedEx or UPS. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable for any items that were already shipped, either returned or not. At our discretion, a restocking and relisting fee of up to USD 40 could be applied for some returned items, although this is very rarely applied.
