Beautiful collection of 22 unsigned black-and-white photo postcards of artists such as David Thaw, Elisabeth Grummer, Fritz uhl, Gerd Nienstedt, Gerhard Unger, Gladys Kuchta, Hans Beirer, Hermin Esser, Herold Kraus, Janis Martin, Josef Greindl, Josef Traxel, Karl Ridderbusch, Ken Neate, Ludmilla Dvorakova, Ludwig Weber, Martti Talvela, Otto Wiener, Rudolf Lustig, Waldemar Kmentt, and Walter Geisler at the Bayreuth festival between the years 1951 and 1970 with information on verso.  Each one's size is 4 x 5,75 inches, all in excellent condition. A beautiful collection of 34 original photo postcards of opera singers from the 1911 Bayreuth Festival in an album, including Werner Engel, Ernest van Dyck, Anna Bahr-Mildenburg, Alfons Schützendorf-Bellwidt, Walter Kirchhoff, Hermann Weil, Carl Braun, Nicola Geisse-Winkel, Gisela Staudigl, Karl Ziegler, Walter Soomer, Heinrich Hensel, Ernestine Schumann-Heink, Eduard Habich, and many others. Album size is 12.5 x 9 inches, all postcards are mounted on the album, in very good condition or better.

Nice collection of 10 postal cards signed by different artists who performed at Bayreuth Festival, including including Alois Hadwiger, Bella Alten, Heinrich Schultz, Hertha Dehmlow, Martha Leffler-Burckhardt, Minnie Saltzmann, Otto Briesemeister, Rudolf Moest. Czech-born baritone (1842-1906), already famous in Germany when he was chosen to create the role of Gunther in the world premiere of Wagner's Die Gotterdammerung in Bayreuth, August 1876. Attractive vintage mini-cabinet photo, shown in role. German choir conductor Wilhelm Pitz, (1897-1973), known mostly as chorus master at Bayreuth Festival, shown with his wife Eva Pitz (?) . Double signed photo postcard from Bayreuth Festival, dated by them in 1965. His signature is on the front and hers on verso. Stamped on verso by photographer Carl Junge, Bayreuth. Size is 4 x 5.75 inches, in excellent condition.

German opera director (1919-2010) and Austrian conductor (1926-2004).  Wonderful photograph signed by the above-mentioned artists plus Wilhelm Pitz and Peter Lehmann during the curtain call at the Bayreuth Festival; photo is ink-stamped on verso by Photo Gebauer Bayreuth.  Size is 5.75 x 4.1 inches, in excellent condition.
