Russian composer (1906-1975) and pianist, a truly prominent composer of the 20th century and considered by many one of the best. Signed printed score for his symphony Nr. 1 - one of his most popular works, which he created at age 19! - for full orchestra, 1962 edition, State Music Publishers, Moscow, in Russian. Shostakovich signs on the first page, inscribes to his friend Isaak Glickman (1911-2003), a Russian literary critic, librettist, screenwriter and teacher at the St. Petersburg Conservatory. Glickman published in 1993 a volume with hundreds of letters that Shostakovich sent him between 1941 and 1975, the year of the composer´s death. His book is today a great source of information about the great Russian composer.

Returns & Exchanges
Unsatisfactory items may be returned within 14 days of receipt for your choice of a store credit or a full refund. In order to qualify for a refund, items must first be returned in the exact same condition they were shipped. By default we ship via USPS, and provide the option to ship via FedEx or UPS. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable for any items that were already shipped, either returned or not. At our discretion, a restocking and relisting fee of up to USD 40 could be applied for some returned items, although this is very rarely applied.
