Star Russian composer (1840-1893) of the late romantic period, today one of the most popular composers in the classical music world.
Remarkable autograph letter to his friend, famous conductor and fellow composer Eduard Napravnik (1839-1916) that he is unable to attend rehearsals of his opera Mazeppa in St. Petersburg, since he has to stay in Moscow for the rehearsals of the same opera in that city. Tchaikovsky composed "Mazeppa" between 1881 and 1883, with the final premiere in Moscow on Feb 3rd, 1884 and in St. Petersburg on Feb 6th, 1884 (all dates in the Old Style calendar) under Napravnik´s baton. This letter is from January 22nd, 1884, less than 2 weeks before the world premiere.

Returns & Exchanges
Unsatisfactory items may be returned within 14 days of receipt for your choice of a store credit or a full refund. In order to qualify for a refund, items must first be returned in the exact same condition they were shipped. By default we ship via USPS, and provide the option to ship via FedEx or UPS. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable for any items that were already shipped, either returned or not. At our discretion, a restocking and relisting fee of up to USD 40 could be applied for some returned items, although this is very rarely applied.
