Italian tenor (1866-1903), active in the last decade of the nineteenth century, best known for creating the role of Chevalier des Grieux in the original 1893 world premiere production of Puccini's Manon Lescaut.

Signed photo, shown as himself, with his very young daughter, Elsa, who tragically died just prior to his signing of this photo at around 2 or 3 years of age. Photo is signed in her "remembrance", and dated in 1898. Bold handwriting and signature. Photo by Bertani. 3.75 x 5.25 inch photo mounted onto hard cardboard, total item size is 4.25 x 6.25 inches, some creases on borders of the cardboard and on verso, otherwise in excellent condition.

Returns & Exchanges

Unsatisfactory items may be returned within 14 days of receipt for your choice of a store credit or a full refund. In order to qualify for a refund, items must first be returned in the exact same condition they were shipped. By default we ship via USPS, and provide the option to ship via FedEx or UPS. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable for any items that were already shipped, either returned or not. At our discretion, a restocking and relisting fee of up to USD 40 could be applied for some returned items, although this is very rarely applied.
