French conductor (1781-1849) and violinist, who became the founding conductor of the Orchestre de la Société des Concerts du Conservatoire in 1828.

Fine printed debt acknowledgment filled by hand, certified with an attached autograph note by Habeneck, in favor of the clarinetist François Dacosta (1778-1866) for January 1842. Also signed by Dacosta and by the director of the Académie Royale de Musique Léon Pillet (1803-1868).

Size is 8.1 x 10.1 inches, some smudges, overall age-toning, in very good condition.
