Famous English piano impresario and manufacturer (1811-1893), the grandson of John Broadwood (1732-1812), who in 1774 founded the famous piano manufacturing company Broadwood & Sons. Henry took over in 1836, taking the company to a new level.

Autograph note signed, to German music critic Eduard Hanslick (1825-1904), one sheet handwritten on both sides with signature on verso, undated, in English. Size is 4.5 x 7 inches, sold untranscribed, in excellent condition.

Broadwood thanks Hanslick for a present (a book or brochure), expressing his wish to get the opportunity to thank him in person.

Returns & Exchanges

Unsatisfactory items may be returned within 14 days of receipt for your choice of a store credit or a full refund. In order to qualify for a refund, items must first be returned in the exact same condition they were shipped. By default we ship via USPS, and provide the option to ship via FedEx or UPS. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable for any items that were already shipped, either returned or not. At our discretion, a restocking and relisting fee of up to USD 40 could be applied for some returned items, although this is very rarely applied.
