Spanish classical guitarist (1893-1987), considered one of the greatest guitar virtuosos of all times, and also well-known for his transcriptions of classical music works.

Autograph letter in French (untranslated) signed by him, dated in Paris, November 23, 1926, where he addresses Madeleine Greslé, reporting a misunderstanding with Andalusian composer Manuel De Falla concerning his festival:

“Si le chemin le plus court pour en finir c’est d’apprendre à Nin que c’est moi qui a dit cela, je n’hésiterai pas un moment de le prendre, et j’ajouterais encore que ce n’est rien ce que j’ai dit de lui à côté de ce que j’en pense. Et quant à la lettre de Falla, je ferais comme une fois qu’un ami à moi duquel je devais attendre un service qu’il ne m’a pas rendu, m’avait écrit “As-tu reçu…”. “Oui - lui ai-je répondu - merci mille fois et je te rends ce dont il s’agit…”.
