Georgian-Russian soprano (b. 1942), signed photograph, shown in role (likely Micaela in Bizet's Carmen), inscribed with sentiment, dated in 1969. Size is 6 x 6.75 inches, in excellent condition.

Russian bass (1870-1948), sang for over 45 years and made several recordings. Signed postcard photograph, shown as himself, signed and inscribed on verso, dated in 1932. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in very good condition.

Russian baritone (1854-1919). Gorgeous black and white photo postcard shown as Tomsky in Tchaikovsky's Pique Dame, signed by him in pencil  with a short sentiment, dated in 1926. Size is 3.4 x 5.4 inches, silvering on edges, otherwise in excellent condition.

Russian baritone (1845-1920), vintage historic signed photo, shown in title role of Tchaikovsky's Mazeppa from the world premiere performance at the Bolshoi, Moscow, dated in 1884. Signature and inscription on verso. Extremely rare item of great historic value! Size is 4.5 x 6.5 inches, very small bump on top right outside of photo area and some mounting traces on verso, otherwise in excellent condition.

Photo is mounted on a photographer´s mat, where Lachovska signed, size is 8.5 x 12.25 inches, stamped on verso by studio Photographie Moderne, Warsaw, spotted rust, in very good condition.

Russian contralto (dates unknown), celebrated at the Chicago Civic Opera, large signed vintage photo, shown as Ulrica in Verdi's Ballo in Maschera, dated in 1927. Inscribed with brief sentiment. Blind stamped by photographer Moffett. Size is 7.5 x 9.5 inches, a thin crease runs along the right side of the photograph not affecting the image or text. Otherwise in very good condition.

Russian contralto (dates unknown), celebrated at the Chicago Civic Opera, signed vintage photograph, shown as herself, inscribed and dated in Chicago in 1926. Size is 7.5 x 9.5 inches, several cuts on each corner of the photo, not affecting the image or text. Priced accordingly.

Legendary Russian baritone (1829-1906) who sang the title role in the first complete performance of Modest Mussorgsky's Boris Godunov. He also appeared in many other world premiere productions, creating the roles of Don Carlos in Dargomyshski's "The stone guest", Prince Tokmakov in Rimsky-Korsakov's "The Maid of Pskov", the title roles of Rubinstein's "The Demon" Borodin's "Prince Igor", as well as roles in four of Tchaikovsky's operas: Prince Vyazminsky in "Oprichnik" (1874), a devil from hell in "Vakula the Smith" (1876), Prince Kurlyatev in "The Enchantress" (1887) and Count Tomsky in "The Queen of Spades" (1890).  Beautiful large cabinet photo, shown in role. Inscribed. Verso contains engraved name of photographer Charles Bergamasco, Imperial Theatres of St. Petersburg. Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, in excellent condition, beautifully well-preserved.
