His most recent recordings include the Brahms and Korngold violin concertos, recorded live in Vienna, Musikvereinssaal with the Vienna Philharmonic led by Valery Gergiev, and released in the USA in February 2009. Romanian tenor (1915-2002), large signed and inscribed photo, shown as Canio in Leoncavallo's Pagliacci. Size is 5 x 7 inches with a small crease at top and some wear on edges but otherwise in good condition.

Famous string quartet, very active during the first quarter of the 20th century in concerts and recordings. Great photo signed in white ink by all in the early 1920s. Artists signing are violist Joseph Zoellner (1862-1950) who founded the string Quartet around 1904, first violinist Antoinette Zoellner (1885-1962), second violinist Amandus Zoellner (1892-1955) and cellist Joseph Zoellner Jr. (1886-1964). Beautiful photograph, inscribed, 9.5 x 7.5 inches. Good condition, minor creases and a small piece is missing over the lower left corner, rare!

American cellist (1862-1950) and founder of the Zoellner Quartet in 1904, considered the most celebrated chamber music ensemble of the first quarter of the XX century. 2-bar autograph music quote from a piece by Beethoven on an album page attached with a clip from a magazine featuring the four members of the quartet, signed by him. Size is 5.9 x 4.4 inches, storage holes, in very good condition.

French novelist (1840-1902), playwright, journalist, the best-known practitioner of the literary school of naturalism. Autograph letter signed, to an unnamed recipient. One page, in French, sold untranslated, Zola writes about an appointment, mentions French writer Alphonse Daudet´s wife, and asks the recipient about postponing a meeting. Size is 3.8 x 6.2 inches, in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a photo postcard of Zola, 3.4 x 5.3 inches, a good choice to frame with this letter if desired.
