French tenor (1831-1905), who starred in the 1866 world premiere of Ambroise Thomas's Mignon. Autograph letter signed, written in Paris, dated in 1865. Written in French, sold untranslated. Letter consists of four folded pages, text is on the first three. Size when fully opened up is 10.25 x 8.25 inches, in excellent condition.

Vintage print by Flemish engraver Anthony Cardon (1772–1813). Cardon engraved in chalk or stipple and made his career in England where he became noted for his illustrations in books.  Vintage print by him, published in London, 1804, showing dancers André-Jean-Jacques Deshayes (1777-1846) and James Harvey D'Egville (1770?-1836) en the ballet-pantomime "Achille et Deidamie", a tragedie en musique composed by Andre Campra. Large size, 14.9 x 19.5 inches (or 37.5 x 49.5 cm), minor scratches and a crack, all hard to see, overall age toning, but the colors and condition are very good. An excellent piece to frame and display, now over 200 years old, rare.

German soprano (1886-1977) who had a successful career as an interpreter of Strauss and Wagner heroines.  Large wonderful signed photo shown as herself, ovalized and mounted on a photographer mat, inscribed to opera director Max Ast, dated in Vienna, 1926.  Photo is also signed in pencil by the photographer (illegible name).  Total size is 9.75 x 12.9 inches, actual photo is 6.2 x 8.3 inches, in excellent condition.

German soprano (1886-1977) who had a successful career as an interpreter of Strauss and Wagner heroines.  Larger size photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment, shown in Richard Strauss II's operetta "A Night in Venice". Photo is ink-stamped on verso and signed in pencil on the front by photographer Edith Glogau, Vienna.  Total size is 9.8 x 14.9 inches, actual photo is 6.4 x 8.1 inches, creases on corners, otherwise in very good condition.

Fine large photograph mounted on a mat signed by the pianist below in black ink, shown young. Total size is 11 x 14 inches, actual photograph is 5.9 x 7.9 inches, in excellent condition.

French composer and music critic (1803-1856), prolific creator of ballets and operas, Adam is best known for his ballets Giselle (1841) and Le Corsaire (1856).  Autograph letter in French (sold with translation) signed by the composer to a friend, dated March 23, 1836, about personal matters, mounted on a mat with his portrait.  Total size is 13.1 x 9 inches, letter size is 3.9 x 4.9 inches, embossed initials over the upper-right corner, portrait's size is 4.8 x 5.8 inches, all in excellent condition.

Shown in costumes backstage following a performance of Wagner's Die Walkure. Size is 6.75 x 5 inches. Large beautiful photo with very attractive costumes, distinct and clear signatures. In excellent condition.

German bass-baritone (1926-2019), especially known for Wagnerian repertoire at Bayreuth, Salzburg, and many other houses. Gorgeous extra large color photograph signed by him with a short sentiment, shown as Moses (not sure if in Schoenberg's opera or Rossini's opera). Size is 15.7 x 23.3 inches, minor damage over the left border, in overall very good condition.
