French tenor (1876-1950), who started his career well into his 30's after working in the French railways. Franz developed a very successful international career thanks to his beautiful voice and impressive stage appearance. Signed photo, shown as Parsifal (the role he premiered in Paris in 1914), dated in 1925. Size is 6.5 x 8.75 inches. Stamped on front by photographer Sabouric, Paris, in excellent condition.

English bass (1908-1973).  Signed photo shown in unknown role at the Royal Opera House, London.  Size is 4 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Belgian operetta soprano (1915-?).  Signed photo, shown probably in role, inscribed and dated in 1940.  Stamped on verso by photographer Emilio, Brussels.  Size is 4.5 x 7 inches, in very good condition. 

French tenor (1880-1966), initially focused mostly on the French repertoire, later expanded it, sang for many world premieres including La Vida Breve by Manuel de Falla and Fortunio by Andre Messager. Signed photo postcard, shown in role. Size is 3.25 x 5.25 inches. Handwritten and signed again on verso, inscribed to Leo Riemens. Blind stamped by photographer in Paris, in excellent condition.

American soprano (b.1959), famous for singing operas by Richard Strauss, Mozart, Handel, bel canto, lieder, French opera and chansons, even jazz and indie rock. Beautiful signed poster for Rossini´s Armida, presented at the Met Season 2009-10. Size is 24 x 36 inches, a great item to frame and collect.

German soprano (1898-1957).  Signed photo shown in role, inscribed and dated in Buenos Aires, 1934.  Size is 6.75 x 9.25 inches, in excellent condition.

Norwegian soprano (1895-1962), one of the greatest Wagnerian dramatic singers of the 20th century. A restrained and expressive stage performer, she was admired internationally for her voice's sheer tonal beauty, power, stamina, security and consistency of line and tone. Great signed photo showing her as Isolde in Tristan und Isolde, opera by Wagner, inscribed. Size is 8 x 10 inches. Flagstad also wrote "Isolde" on the lower left corner. Contrast is poor, but still readable.

Signed photo showing her in the title role in Madama Butterfly - one of her most famous roles. This half-tone autograph photo is mounted on a double acid-free mat together with a clip from an original Metropolitan Opera program from 1918 for a performance of Tosca with Farrar in that role. Sizes are: 3.5 x 5.25 inches for the signed photo (visible window size), 5 x 4.5 inches for the program clip (visible window size), total mat size is 13 x 10 inches, in excellent condition - will look truly awesome if framed
