Italian tenor (1889-1938), very successful in the 1920s, sang in European and South American theaters and left few recordings. Signed postcard photograph, shown as Canio in Leoncavallo's I Pagliacci, inscribed with sentiment, dated in 1929. Blind stamped on front by photographer Peruzzi, Florence. Russian bass-baritone and opera director (1877-1952), signed photograph, shown as Mephistopheles in Gounod's Faust, inscribed and dated in 1914. Size is 3.25 x 5.25 inches, small bends, otherwise in very good condition.

American mezzo-soprano (b.1949). Fine color promo photograph by the Met Opera inscribed and signed by Jones with a short sentiment. Size is 7.9 x 10.1 inches, minor creases, in very good condition.

French singer (1836-1913), also known as Emma Valladon, whose songs were very popular in her time, admired by many important figures and financially successful. Fine receipt in French signed by her in Paris, June 3, 1864. Size is 6.7 x 3.5 inches, rust stains, in very good condition.

Superstar Italian soprano (1843-1919); French tenor (1834-1898). Beautiful Christmas card with a printed poem and a sepia photograph of the Craig-y-Nos castle signed by both artists dated 1888. Size is 3.75 x 5.1 inches, minor damage on page 1, in overall very good condition.

Signed postcard photograph, shown as herself, signed as "Clara Butt Rutherford" reflecting her 1900 marriage to the baritone Kennerly Rutherford. Bold handwriting and signature. Size is 3.5. x 5.5 inches, slight bends, otherwise in very good condition.

French mezzo-soprano (1821-1910) of Spanish descent who enjoyed a long and illustrious career as a star performer in the 1840s until her retirement in the late 1860s. Autograph note signed in French (sold untranslated), 1 page of a 4 page folded document, size of each page is 4 x 5.25 inches, in very good condition. American soprano (1858-1919), starred in the 1883 world premiere of Leo Delibes' Lakme, singing the title role. Signed cabinet photograph, shown in role, inscribed. Russian-born French soprano (1860-1936). One autograph letter in French (untranslated) signed by her, 4 pages, undated. Size of each page is 6.5 x 8.25 inches, very small tear on third and fourth pages not affecting text, otherwise in very good condition. 

American contralto (1897-1993), highly celebrated in her time, and the first black person, American or otherwise, to perform at the Metropolitan Opera and an inspiration to many future African American performers.  Fine card signed by her. Size is 5 x 3 inches, in excellent condition.

Austrian soprano and mezzo-soprano and teacher (1842-1921), sang Wagnerian repertoire, particularly well known for Kundry in Parsifal. Visting card with her handwriting but no signature, size is 2.25 x 3.5 inches, written in German, sold untranslated. Also included attractive unsigned photo, shown as Fides in Meyberbeer's Le Prophete. Size is 6.5 x 7.75 inches, in excellent condition. Not sold separately. 

American soprano (1887-1984) who recorded with Thomas Alba Edison. Signed photograph, shown as herself, inscribed and dated in 1913. Size is 6 x 8 inches in excellent condition. Rare vintage item! Also included: 4 page unsigned publicity brochure for a concert at the Medinah Temple, Chicago containing previous reviews and accolades, as well a list of her recordings. Size of each page is 5.5 x 8.5 inches, in very good condition. Not sold separately.

American stage and screen actress (1910-2007), opera singer, TV personality, and spokesperson for the arts. Beautiful 6-bar autograph music quote from Love in Bloom by Lay Robert. Size is 8.75 x 3.25 inches, in excellent condition.
