Austrian soprano and mezzo-soprano and teacher (1842-1921), sang Wagnerian repertoire, particularly well known for Kundry in Parsifal. Visting card with her handwriting but no signature, size is 2.25 x 3.5 inches, written in German, sold untranslated. Also included attractive unsigned photo, shown as Fides in Meyberbeer's Le Prophete. Size is 6.5 x 7.75 inches, in excellent condition. Not sold separately. 

Star Russian composer (1840-1893) of the late romantic period, today one of the most popular composers in the classical music world. Wonderful cabinet photo, signed by him, dated on Dec 18th, 1882. Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, minor stains, in very good condition, no photographer name. 

American soprano (1887-1984) who recorded with Thomas Alba Edison. Signed photograph, shown as herself, inscribed and dated in 1913. Size is 6 x 8 inches in excellent condition. Rare vintage item! Also included: 4 page unsigned publicity brochure for a concert at the Medinah Temple, Chicago containing previous reviews and accolades, as well a list of her recordings. Size of each page is 5.5 x 8.5 inches, in very good condition. Not sold separately. 

Spanish soprano (1889-1973), one of the leading coloratura sopranos during the inter-war years. Signed photograph, shown in role (possibly Violetta in Verdi's La Traviata), dated in Buenos Aires in 1926. Printed photographer signature on front. Size is 7 x 9.25 inches, in very good condition.

Star Ukrainian violinist (1891-1967), one of the greatest violin players of the early 20th century.  His original visiting card signed by him with a short sentiment dated in April 1942. Size is 3.75 x 2.2 inches, in excellent condition.

American pianist (1880-1948), music critic, and teacher; second wife of conductor Leopold Stokowski. Typed letter signed by her and dated in New York, January 15th, 1934, about music business. Size is 7.25 x 10.4 inches, 1 page, folds, otherwise in excellent condition.

Italian-American composer and librettist (1911-2007), who created several popular operas. Autograph note on a postcard with his letterhead signed by him, no date (postal markings indicate the year 1948), with a short message to a friend. Size is 5.4 x 3.3 inches, minor stains, in excellent condition.

American composer (1854-1932) and conductor of the late Romantic era known primarily for American military marches. Fine postcard with his image, signed by him in pencil. Size is 5.6 x 3.7 inches, minor damages on all four corners, ink writing by another hand, in overall very good condition.

Signed as "Fanny Moody-Manners" reflecting her marriage to the bass Charles Manners with whom she formed the Moody-Manners Opera Company, dedicated to presenting opera in English. Photo by Chancellor studios, Dublin. Size is 4.2 x 6.5 inches, slight creases and paper loss on edges not affecting the image and signature, otherwise in very good condition.

Russian pianist (1874-1944) and piano teacher, who wrote a short book in 1924 that is considered a classic Basic Principles in Pianoforte Playing. Gorgeous black-and-white photograph signed by him on March 5th, 1935, shown in performance; ink-stamped on verso by Alison Adams Artists Series. Size is 7.9 x 9.8 inches, in excellent condition.

American violinist (1936-1972), considered one of the best young performers of the 20th century, and who tragically died at age 35. Nice card signed by him with a short greeting dated on November 22nd, 1961. Size is 5.75 x 3.3 inches, in excellent condition.

Program for a recital of the famous American violinist at The Civic Association in New York (no date but probably in the 1950s) with pianist Carlo Bussotti performing works by Corelli, Beethoven, Brahms, Bartok, Glazunov, and Paganini, signed by both artists. Austrian-born American conductor (1921-2014), associated for a long time with the now disappeared New York City Opera. Nice 3-bar autograph music quote from Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro signed by the conductor with a short sentiment. Size is 8.8 x 3.1 inches, in excellent condition.

German conductor (1923-2013) and pianist, best known for his association with the Bayreuth Festival. 5-bar autograph music quote from one of Mozart's Symphonies on the front and some bars from the fourth movement of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 on verso, both signed by him in 1989. Size is 8.6 x 3.1 inches, in excellent condition.
