Rare, larger size (10.5 x 14 inches) piece of what was the curtain of the old Metropolitan Opera House in New York.

The old, original Metropolitan Opera House was located on Broadway and 40th street, where it stood between 1883 when it was inaugurated, and its demolition in early 1967. The company moved in 1966 to its larger and more modern location at the Lincoln Center in New York, where it still is.

According to our research, this curtain was used in the old house between 1903 and 1966. This is the largest piece of this curtain that we have ever seen.

Returns & Exchanges

Unsatisfactory items may be returned within 14 days of receipt for your choice of a store credit or a full refund. In order to qualify for a refund, items must first be returned in the exact same condition they were shipped. By default we ship via USPS, and provide the option to ship via FedEx or UPS. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable for any items that were already shipped, either returned or not. At our discretion, a restocking and relisting fee of up to USD 40 could be applied for some returned items, although this is very rarely applied.
