Short autograph note mounted over a slightly larger piece of soft cardboard signed by the tenor and dated 1862, stating 'I am sorry to inform you that your song has been mislaid. I have so many compositions sent me that it becomes tiresome to remember them all.' Total size is 5 x 7.5 inches, dust stains, folds, in overall good condition.

Autograph letter in English signed by him, dated 1858, embossed at the top of the first page. Size is 4.5 x 7 inches, 3 written pages in one folded sheet, very small tear on the right side and some rust on the blank back page, otherwise in very good condition.

ALSO INCLUDED is an unsigned carte-de-visite (CDV) photograph of him, shown as himself, by photographer W.J. Whitlock, Birmingham. Size is 2.5 x 4 inches, in excellent condition. Not sold separately

Long autograph letter in English signed by him and dated in London, 1856. Size is 4.5 x 7 inches, 12 written pages, in very good condition.

Set of two autograph notes signed by him, one dated in 1882, folded 5 x 8-inch document with text on the front page, some stains on blank pages, otherwise in excellent condition. The other autograph note is signed and dated 1895; 4.5 x 7 inches, in very good condition. Both are in English and contain a blind-stamped address at the top.
