Italian opera composer (1858-1924), the greatest creator of operas for 30 years until his death by cancer.

Interesting autograph letter signed, dated by him on February 20th, 1907, written on paper with letterhead from the Astor Hotel in New York. Puccini, who came to New York to see the Met Opera premiere of his last version of Madama Butterfly, writes to (probably) theater critic Primo Levi about postponing their upcoming meeting because he is travelling to see Niagara Falls before going back to Europe. 

One page, written on both sides, 5.8 x 8.8 inches, minor folds, in excellent condition. In Italian, a full translation is provided in a separate sheet, with abundant details about Puccini´s 40-day stay in America in 1907.

Returns & Exchanges

Unsatisfactory items may be returned within 14 days of receipt for your choice of a store credit or a full refund. In order to qualify for a refund, items must first be returned in the exact same condition they were shipped. By default we ship via USPS, and provide the option to ship via FedEx or UPS. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable for any items that were already shipped, either returned or not. At our discretion, a restocking and relisting fee of up to USD 40 could be applied for some returned items, although this is very rarely applied.
