Russian composer (1906-1975) and pianist, a truly prominent composer of the 20th century and considered by many one of the best. 

Rare autograph music quote signed by the composer, inscribed and dated by him in 1974. Shostakovich also writes "Allegretto" at the top, writes 9 bars from an unidentified piece. Quote is 7.5 x 2.6 inches, light age toning and mounting traces on verso, in excellent condition. Rare!

ALSO INCLUDED is the front of an envelope, with the address at the bottom, signed by the composer, sized 8.75 x 5.75 inches, and an unsigned photograph of him, 7.3 x 8.9 inches, in excellent condition.

Returns & Exchanges

Unsatisfactory items may be returned within 14 days of receipt for your choice of a store credit or a full refund. In order to qualify for a refund, items must first be returned in the exact same condition they were shipped. By default we ship via USPS, and provide the option to ship via FedEx or UPS. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable for any items that were already shipped, either returned or not. At our discretion, a restocking and relisting fee of up to USD 40 could be applied for some returned items, although this is very rarely applied.
