German violinist (1884-?), wife of the composer Philipp Jarnach (1892-1982).

An interesting autograph letter in German (untranslated) signed by her, dated in Cologne, February 20, 1930, to a gentleman, on musical matters, stating “I have our national telephone conversation to my husband d. Erdmann. E. asks you to write again to Bernstein, who in the meantime has already complained that he was passed over after this engagement. Philipp, however, went to Berlin where he is playing tonight. He still has me to tell you that, after reconsidering, he would like to come back to your friendly offer to conduct his "Vorspiel" himself….”.

Size is 8.8 x 11.22, 2 written pages in one sheet (front and back), folds, overall rust stains, in very good condition.

Returns & Exchanges

Unsatisfactory items may be returned within 14 days of receipt for your choice of a store credit or a full refund. In order to qualify for a refund, items must first be returned in the exact same condition they were shipped. By default we ship via USPS, and provide the option to ship via FedEx or UPS. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable for any items that were already shipped, either returned or not. At our discretion, a restocking and relisting fee of up to USD 40 could be applied for some returned items, although this is very rarely applied.
