Great autograph letter signed by him, no year but certainly from the last 3 years of his life. Strauss mentions his operas and mentions the sale of his manuscripts. One page, in German, sold with transcription and translation, 5.5 x 7 inches, fold and a small repaired crack, in very good condition.

ALSO INCLUDED are an envelope that belongs to another letter (1938), and a leather folder embossed with the composer´s name in golden letters. 7.75 x 8.8 inches, in excellent condition.

Beautiful autograph letter in German with the letterhead of Hotel St. Moritz signed by the composer and dated January 1st, 1911, addressed to a certain Dr. Levin where he mentions the upcoming world premiere of his opera Der Rosenkavalier. Size is 5.75 x 7.3 inches, 3 written pages in two separate sheets, mat burn marks, folds, otherwise in excellent condition.

A 2-page translation into English plus an unsigned black-and-white modern print photo of him, sized 4.9 x 6.9 inches.
