French violinist (1820-1900). Autograph letter in French (sold untranslated) signed by him as "J. Armingaud" dated in Paris, June 18, 1866, thanking for the interest in his protégé, whose addressee, a general, would like to talk to Barbier. Size is 5.1 x 8 inches, 2 written pages, folds, in very good condition.

Hungarian violinist (1845-1930), academic, composer, conductor and famous as a violin teacher. Among his many students were Mischa Elman, Jascha Heifetz, Nathan Milstein, Efrem Zimbalist, Benno Rabinof, Kathleen Parlow and other great performers.  Signed cabinet photo, inscribed to one of his most famous students, Kathleen Parlow, dated by him in Eisenach in 1906, where Auer spent his summer vacations and gave classes. Born in Canada, Kathleen Parlow (1890-1963) met Auer in 1905 in St. Petersburg, Russia, and took classes from him. This is a fantastic piece of violin memorabilia, with an autograph from one of the greatest to one of his later famous students. Auer autographs are rather rare and valuable. Size is 4.25 x 6.4 inches, an original cabinet photo by Elliott & Fry, London, trimming at the bottom taking probably 0.1 inches, repaired crack on the top left corner. Cabinet photo is mounted on a slightly larger black cardboard, to a total size of 4.5 x 6.8 inches and can not be detached. 

Swiss violinist (1875-1963) and also a writer of educational books.  Signed photo postcard with a short sentiment in French, dated in Paris in 190.   Size is 5.4 x 3.6 inches, rust stains on four corners, minor crease over the lower-left corner, in very good condition.  Extremely rare!

Russian violist (1885-1953), educator, and composer. Autograph note signed and dated by him in 1941, probably to a fan. Size is 6.75 x 4.9 inches, storage holes, minor crack at the top, otherwise in very good condition.

Hungarian-born violinist and conductor (1920-2018) of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra. Autograph letter signed with letterhead of the TSO, about music issues. 2 pages in one sheet. Size is 8.5 x 10.9 inches, in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED are 2 programs plus 1 brochure with him as violinist and conductor.

Size is 7.1 x 4.9 inches, in excellent condition.

Argentine violinist (1898-1977) whose career developed in the USA in close association with Arturo Toscanini at the New York Philharmonic and the NBC Orchestra. Signed card dated in Brussels, 1931, attached to a half-tone photograph of the violinist, shown young. Size is 3.5 x 5.4 inches, in excellent condition.

Fine black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment dated in New York, 1946; blind-stamped over the lower-right corner by photographer Mirayo (Havana). French violinist (1778-1861), first violin at the court of Ferdinand VII of Spain. Autograph note in French (untranslated) signed by him, dated March 9, 1829, addressed to the dramatist Théophile Marion Dumersan (1780-1849) about an upcoming appointment.  Size is 8 x 4.8 inches, rust stains, creases, in overall good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is an autograph document signed by him, dated May 17, 1828, an Annual grant accorded to the violinist by the “Fonds de réserve” of the Département de Beaux-Arts. In 1821 the composer Carl Maria von Weber conducted a concert in Berlin, in which Boucher was a performer, playing Weber's Variations on a Norwegian Air, to which he added his own cadenza. In April 1822 he visited Ludwig van Beethoven; at the occasion, the composer wrote for Boucher a piece for two violins (WoO 34 in the Kinsky–Halm Catalogue).

French-Canadian cellist, conductor and composer (1885-1961), and child prodigy who could perform many musical instruments.  Autograph music quote with 4 bars of music from an unknown piece, signed by him, and dated by another hand in 1930.  Size is 6.3 x 2.7 inches, overall age-toning, otherwise in very good condition.

French violinist (1858-1935), conductor, musicologist, and music historian. Set of three autograph letters in French signed by him, as follows:  A. July 14, 1922, to a colleague: "... the unpublished letters of Mozart and Beethoven, which I have communicated to the French Society of Musicology, unfortunately, do not belong to me. I indicated the source from which I had drawn these precious documents...". Size is 5 x 8.3 inches, two written pages in one sheet, folds, letterhead, in very good condition. B. September 28, 1922, to a gentleman: "... As far as I am concerned, I have only a small collection of autographs which, however, are not lacking in a certain interest..." Size is 5.2 x 8.1 inches, two written pages in one sheet (front and verso), in very good condition. C. November 4, 1922, to a gentleman letting him know that he finds the letter by Gustave Charpentier very interesting. Size is 5.2 x 8.1 inches, in very good condition. Serbian violinist (1904-1964) who enjoyed an important concert and recording career.  Gorgeous black and white photograph signed and inscribed by him, shown young, dated in 1932.  Photograph is stamped on verso by photographer Peter North, London.  Size is 7.3 x 9.7 inches, loss of paper over the upper-right and lower-left corners, minor creases over the lower border not affecting his signature, in good condition.
